ROLE – Service Desk Analyst
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £25,000 - £30,000
A top client of mine, based in Hertfordshire near Watford, are going through a period of business growth and have a really exciting opportunity to join them within their Service Desk team. As a Service Desk Analyst joining a close working team of 8. This opportunity is a permanent role and would really suit someone that perhaps comes from a background in the managed services arena that wants to work on internal, exciting projects for a change or even a background in telecoms could be beneficial. Although, these are not a must!
The Service Desk Analyst will ideally have the following skills/experience:
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of hardware, HP would be beneficial
  • Wintel knowledge (Windows Server 2003/16 + Windows 10)
  • Networking (TCP/IP, Cisco switches, etc)
  • Active Directory & Office 365 administration
  • Laptop builds
  • Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Logging, monitoring and resolving complex IT incidents
  • Acting as first line escalation point for critical issues
  • Liaising with customers and 3rd parties
  • Managing calls to resolution within SLA
  • Assisting Infrastructure Engineers with design, install/configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and infrastructure
  • Helpdesk Support
