Role – Warehouse Operative
Salary - £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Type - Permanent
Location – Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Borehamwood on a permanent basis.
The Warehouse Operative will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experienced working in a Warehouse / Stores environment
- Must have counterbalance experience
- Forklift experience would also be beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of MS Office packages and strong computer skills
- Excellent organisation
- Knowledge of handling/shipping/storing dangerous goods
The Warehouse Operative role will involve:
- Managing stock levels
- Booking in parts and purchase orders
- Basic inspection of parts to confirm finish
- Manual handling of goods/parts
- Picking jobs from BOMs list
- Controlling the stores area
- Arranging transport and shipping for goods
