Role – Assembly Fitter
Type – Permanent
Location – Tamworth
Salary - £27,000 - £32,000, dependant on experience
My client designs and manufactures a variety of specialist products for numerous sectors. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their team in Tamworth on a permanent basis.
The Assembly Fitter will ideally have the following attributes:
- A background in Manufacture would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture
Experienced in;
- Undertaking general electro-mechanical assembly or finishing operations
- Wiring control panel and pneumatic installations (Desirable but not necessary)
- Mechanical fitting
- Manual Handling
- Having a Fork Truck License is desirable, but also not necessary.
The Assembly Fitter role will involve:
- Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine
- Plastic Parts manufacture
- Self inspection of finished items using laid down methodology.
- Finishing and Packaging of finished machines
- Control Panel Assembly and Wiring.
- Wiring of chamber
- Testing of chamber using instructions provided.
