Role- CAD Design Engineer
Salary- £30,000- £37,000 per annum plus benefits (Dependent on experience)
Type- Permanent
Location- Stafford
My client design and manufactures a range of bespoke commercial rooms for a variety of clients. They are looking to take on a CAD Design Engineer, on a permanent basis, in Stafford.
The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering subject
- Graduate level will be considered as well as those with 2-5 years’ or more of industry experience working in a CAD / design role
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of CAD software – Inventor or Revit
- Experience with Joinery, or any form of woodwork is desirable, but not a necessity
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad
- Someone who is keen to progress and develop with a company long term
The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
- Working as part of the Drawing Office
- Supporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teams
- Working to produce drawings using Inventor CAD software
- Creating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standards
- Keeping on top of project schedules
- Checking and reviewing drawings
