Salary Range: £35,000 - £43,000 per annum
Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a dedicated Calibration and Test Engineer to join our team in Egham. As a Calibration and Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our testing and calibration processes. You will be responsible for conducting tests, calibrating equipment, and implementing quality control procedures to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing calibration and testing of electronic equipment and systems
- Developing and implementing test plans and procedures
- Identifying and troubleshooting issues in test equipment and processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate records of calibration and test results
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and advancements
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics or a related field
- Proven experience in calibration and testing of electronic equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, measurement techniques, and test methodologies
- Proficient in using calibration equipment and software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A passion for delivering high-quality results
