ROLE – Design Engineer
LOCATION – Bury St Edmunds
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
I am currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join the design team of a company working on Special Purpose Machinery.
You will be taking a leading role on the projects and assuming a large amount of responsibility. The role centres around metal products.
Ideally, we would like you to:
- Be skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software
- Be able to create models / prototypes
- Be technically minded
- Have a product design/ engineering related degree
- Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion
- Strong Design for Manufacture skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop your ideas from concept to production.
- Sketch ideas and develop concepts.
- Create models/prototypes.
- Do market research, visit clients and listen to their feedback.
- Use all manufacturing processes.
- Quality test new products
