Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Aberdeen (Scotland)
Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum

An established and rich Global Advanced Technology Engineering company located in Aberdeen (Scotland) who specialize in the industry & technologies of Renewable Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Oil & Gas, and many more have a great new opening to recruit 2 brand new Electronics Design Engineers to join the world-leading advanced technology environment.
Salary on offer for the 2 Electronics Design Engineers:
Electronics Design Engineer: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on skillset & experience.
The role:
The successful Electronics Design Engineer main focus will be taking the business Video Surveillance & Maritime Projects group with new designs, updates of active systems and granting specialist support to the sales and manufacturing teams.
Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:
- 2-5+ years minimum industry experience
- Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
- PCB Design & Schematic Capture
- Embedded Software Programming – C, C++
- C# is a strong plus
- Knowledge & experience of Microcontroller, microprocessors & DSP
- Practical skills - Prototype testing, debugging, soldering, system fault finding
Desirable nice to have skills:
- Experience of IP Video Management Systems, CCTV systems, optical design
- Familiarity with military standards
- Set up and developing of computer networks - The vast majority of the CCTV systems the organisation supply are now network based:-
- An understanding of IP addressing for computers and other networked devices.
- Setting up network switches, including VLANs, accounting for bandwidth and PoE (Power over Ethernet) budgets.
- Network hardening, managing user privileges, restricting installation of removable devices etc.
- An awareness of cyber security would also be advantageous.
- Industry experience – Renewables, AI, Subsea Technology, Oil & Gas
