FPGA Design Engineer – Gloucestershire £45,000 - £50,000
I’m working with a pioneering technology company known for cutting-edge solutions in Electronics & software engineering, data science, and IT. A new position has come where they require an FPGA Engineer to join their engineering department to help aid new design and develop bespoke products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complete turnkey systems, integrating PIC microprocessors and Xilinx FPGAs.
- Manage multiple projects under tight customer deadlines.
- Thrive in collaborative small team environments, sharing knowledge and delivering high-quality solutions to customers.
Essential skills:
- Degree in Engineering or qualification such as HNC/HND.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FPGA (or ASIC) Design and Verification.
- Experience in VHDL and C/C++ coding skills.
- Experience of working with microprocessors, preferable with PIC microprocessors.
Nice to have’s/ non essentials:
- Good understanding of analogue and digital circuit designs.
- Ability to carry out schematic designs.
- Ability to develop GUI programs for windows-based systems for data acquisition from the developed system.
- Experience in working with databases.
