Embedded DSP Engineer – Somerset - £55K - £60K
I’m seeking an innovative and experienced Electronics Engineer specializing in Embedded Digital Signal Processing (DSP). My client who specializes in the Oil & Gas technology manufacturing sector have had a successful year and are now expanding the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize embedded microcontroller code for timing-critical applications.
- Oversee maintenance and development of the design, ensuring its efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in code review, provide troubleshooting assistance, and offer technical support to team members.
- Collaborate on additional programming tasks to support project objectives.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a DSP Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in signal processing theory, algorithms, and implementation techniques.
- Strong background in embedded code development for timing-critical applications.
- Experience with DSP implementation on small microcontrollers and FPGAs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and VHDL.
- Familiarity with modelling packages such as Matlab
