Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

An established and successful engineering company based in Derby (Derbyshire) who’re Global leaders in Advanced Security Technologies have a new opening position to recruit for a brand new Embedded Software Engineer to join an expert team and company.
Salaries on offer & work from home policy:
The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Software Engineer is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. 5 days working onsite is preferred but 1-2 days WFH is open.
The role:
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will take responsibility for Embedded C programming that will include designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging from concept through to manufacturing for products and technology.
Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:
- 2-5+ years industry experience
- Understanding of developing for embedded platforms and environments
- Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
- Network interface protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, TCP/IP
- Embedded IDE Environments – MPLAB X, ARM Keil, Visual Studio or similar
- Good & strong diagnostic skills
- Interest in learning & applying new technologies and techniques
Desirable & highly advantageous nice to have skills:
- Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
- PCB Design
- FPGA knowledge
- Linux/Ubuntu Environments
- Embedded C++ development on a Linux Environment
