JOB – Facilities Manager

LOCATION – Henley-on-Thames

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

My client is looking for a new Facilities Manager to join their team and take over the varied general maintenance and Health and Safety regulations of their exciting site on a permanent basis. They are a small team with a friendly culture and hope to find someone passionate and positive to make this role their own.

The Facilities Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Electrical and mechanical skills
  • The ability to carry out general, all-round maintenance such as repairs and painting in addition to more technical electrical and mechanical maintenance work across the site
  • Health & Safety qualified e.g. with BIFM  ideally
  • Experience with risk assessments and accident reports
  • Event management experience would be ideal
  • A proactive and positive approach
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
The Facilities Manager role will involve:
  • Day-to-day maintenance of the pool, gym, kitchen, gardens and buildings
  • General Health & Safety work
  • Sometimes working at height
  • Project management for occasional events
  • Regularly meeting and working with the team onsite to keep the club running smoothly
