JOB – Sales Manager
LOCATION – Remote with some UK travel required
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £50,000-£60,000, dependent on experience
My client works on District Heating Networks. They are looking for a new Sales Manager with relevant industry experienced to join their team.
The role will be remote, with some travel required around the UK. They are ideally looking for someone who lives centrally in the UK.
The Sales Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experience in District Heating Networks
- Knowledge of pipes / pipework
- Experienced in Sales / Business Development
- Extensive customer-facing experience and the ability to provide a quality service
- Experience with quotations and proposals
- Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate others
- Organised and methodical
- Confident and skilled at public speaking
- Enthusiasm for the position
The Sales Manager role will involve:
- Managing District Heating Network sales activities within the company
- Optimising marketing and new business opportunities to increase sales
- Working with clients to maintain the company’s excellent reputation
- Reaching out to new business and cold calling
- Representing the company at showrooms and events
- Working in alignment with commercial, technical, research and marketing strategies
- Achieving revenue growth targets
- Day-to-day sales management and team engagement
- Driving for progression and growth of the business
- Some travel around the UK to visit customers and attend trade shows
