Hardware Manager - £60,000 - £65,000 pa – Essex
A leading Electronics Manufacturer are looking to bring on a Hardware Manager to lead their Hardware team developing and maintaining electronic devices used in the instrumentation and test industry.
Responsibilities:
- Daily strategic planning and management of hardware related tasks and resources.
- Ensure Hardware team support and deliver on wider R&D goals.
- Reviewing, developing, implementing and improving electronics hardware systems and processes.
- Assist in design & testing i.e. fault finding, PCB design & layout where appropriate.
- Lead the review of design & product documentation.
- Managing and supporting engineer’s performance.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven Leadership and/or management experience.
- Strong technical background in Electronics Hardware design.
- PCB design & layout (Altium preferred).
- Analogue & Digital Circuit design.
- Electronics Testing & Fault Finding.
