Job Opportunity: Head of Financial Services
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

About the Role: As the Head of Financial Services, you'll play a crucial role in the management team, reporting directly to the CFO. You'll lead a newly formed Financial Services team.
- Lead the establishment and management of the Financial Services team
- Oversee financial reporting, including Monthly Management Accounts and Statutory Financial Statements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations in a regulated sector
- Deliver financial information to non-finance stakeholders and write board papers
- Manage multi-year cash flow and develop financial systems
- Lead budget setting and 3-year financial planning at organizational and departmental levels
- Stay updated on Procurement & Payroll guidelines and Finance and Funding regulations for FE & HE sectors
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role (FE experience not essential)
- Relevant professional qualification in accountancy (e.g., CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA, ICA)
- Experience in managing a varied corporate service function
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial regulations
