Job Opportunity: Head of Management Accountant (Business Partnering)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
About the Role: As the Head of Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in the management team, reporting directly to the Head of Financial Services. You'll lead the establishment and management of the business partnering function, ensuring compliance with financial, audit, and procurement regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of the business partnering function
- Provide support to the group that complies with financial regulations
- Oversee financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements
- Manage cash flow and the payroll department
- Develop and administer appropriate financial systems
- Lead budget setting and three-year financial planning at organizational and department levels
- Demonstrate strong business partnering skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (FE experience not essential)
- Relevant professional qualification in accountancy (e.g., CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA, ICA)
- Experience in managing a varied corporate service function
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and business partnering
