Lead AIT Engineer – Hertfordshire - £60,000 - £80,000 pa
As part of a new expansion, a leading Electronics manufacturer in the Space/Aerospace Industry are looking for a Lead AIT Engineer to join their R&D team designing next generation robotics & space technology.
Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering teams to verify units and systems are designed and implemented to meet environmental and functional testing standards.
- Lead the planning, development and implementation of the assembly, test and integration of electronic subsystems and payloads.
- Lead the development of hardware and software tools to increase quality and efficiency of AIT operations.
- Conception and definition of test plans, strategies and procedures.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years in the Space Industry or another relevant sector
- Electrical/Electronics subsystems for satellite payloads
- AIT for Satcoms
- Scripting and test automation (Python, C etc.)
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Understanding of analogue circuits/simulation
- Power electronics or RF systems
