Lead Electronics Engineer – Somerset - £70,000 - £90,000

An electronics manufacturer is currently looking for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join their R & D team designing next generation devices used in the oil & gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead in the development, implementation, and improvement of our internal design process
- Assist in the creation of design requirements and specification documents to ensure that we deliver products that satisfy the technical and commercial requirements of our customers
- Work alongside the Firmware development team
- Leading a small team to ensure deadlines and guidelines are met
Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years technical experience in Electronics
- BSc In Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with Product Development Life Cycle
- Analog & Digital Circuit Design
- Experience with DSP
- Embedded Software (Embedded C/C++)
- Microcontrollers & Peripherals
- PCB Design & Layout
- Programming Languages such as C and VHDL
Any mix of the following is nice to have/ non essential:
- High Speed Digital Electronics
- Power Electronics Experience
