Company Overview - A highly successful manufacturing company located in King’s Lynn that provides top-class products for the foodservice, bakery and retail industry. They are now looking to recruit a brand-new Manufacturing Engineer to join the growing company on a permanent basis.
Manufacturing Engineer role purpose: – To provide manufacturing engineering and technical support to manufacturing process areas. To develop continuous improvement within the Plant by using 5S programmes, TPM, VSM, 80/20, in lining and other Lean tools.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Lean manufacturing techniques and tools, and understanding of 8 wastes, Standard work, Visual workplace, Continuous Improvements, Kanban, SMED, Kaizen
- Process and customer focused.
- Ability to work collaboratively across wider business departments.
Qualifications:
- Degree in relevant SMET subject or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering considered with extensive relevant manufacturing experience.
