About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the product development process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the final product meets the client's specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components using 3D CAD software.
- Perform detailed analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and functionality of designs.
- Collaborate with electronics engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies and recommend design modifications based on testing and analysis.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to provide technical support during production.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
