Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed design specifications for mechanical components and systems
- Creating and modifying 2D and 3D design models using CAD software
- Performing structural and thermal analysis on designs to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Collaborating with electrical and electronics engineers to integrate mechanical and electrical systems
- Testing and evaluating prototypes for functionality, durability, and safety
- Preparing technical documentation and reports
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronics engineering principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in design work
