Job Description
I am seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Holsworthy. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for many industries.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop innovative design solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in CAD software, and experience with designing products for manufacturing and assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software (Solidworks)
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform structural analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development projects
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations
- Create and modify engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct testing and analyses to verify design performance
- Resolve design issues and recommend improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
