JOB- Mechanical Fitter
LOCATION- Letchworth
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £27,000 to £32,000 per annum (plus benefits)
In this role you will be assembling mechanical components for upcoming exciting projects that they will be involved in. The company will offer brilliant hands-on training on the job and like to nurture progression within the business.
The Role:
- General mechanical fitting and assembly
- Basic machining, metal cutting, drilling, tapping
- Use of hand tools
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
- Have a good understanding of engineering drawings
- Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Pneumatics knowledge an advantage
The Person:
- Must have experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Mechanical Assembly and Fitting
- Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
