Data Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Data Platform Engineer to work within the Data Architecture Team and deploy and maintain cloud applications.
The Data Platform Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and within the Data Team to define the platform standards and manage the stability and scalability of the platform.
The Data Platform Engineer will help to define these standards whilst ensuring there is a seamless integration of applications across the sphere. This will also include automation of deployment, config and management with IaC Tooling.
The Data Platform Engineer is pivotal in managing the system uptime whilst setting up monitoring tools and making sure that the environment is operational.
You will also be working with members of the team to plan and manage upgrades to effectively maintain performance, reliability and security.
Tech Stack:
- Deployment on AWS or Azure
- Cloud Databases such as Snowflake or Redshift
- IaC Tooling with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep etc
- Docker
- Agile working
