Principal Electronics Engineer – Hertfordshire/Cambridge - £65,000 - £90,000 pa
Due to a rapidly increasing workload, a small consultancy in the Hertfordshire/Cambridge area are looking for a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead their team developing complex Electronics Design solutions for a variety of clients in the medical, consumer, renewables & IoT space.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all stages of electronics hardware & product development
- Analysis
- Hardware architecture
- Prototype design
- Testing
- Lead projects & collaborate with other Hardware & Software Engineers to ensure that projects are delivered on time
- Grow strong relationships with clients & stakeholders and aid them with developing their requirements and visions
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Analogue & Digital Circuit design
- PCB Design/Layout
- Electronics Circuit components (op-amps, inductors etc.)
- Full product development life cycle experience from concept to release
Non-Essential/Nice to have’s:
- Medical device standards (ISO13485, IEC 62304 etc.)
- Wireless technologies (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi etc.)
- Power Electronics
- Experience in a consultancy/start up environment
