Role- Project Manager
Salary- £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
Type- Permanent
Location- Surrey
My client designs, manufactures and services electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Project Manager for a new projects team, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Approx. 4 or more years of experience in other Project Engineer / Project Manager roles in engineering and manufacturing environments
- Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, software, hardware, service etc.)
- Prince2, PMI or APM qualification would be desirable but not essential
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent proficiency working with MS Office
- Have excellent communication skills
The Project Manager role will involve:
- Being involved in high-impact projects
- Being responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of these projects
- Always having a risk controlled approach
- Making sure they’re delivered on-time and in budget
- Driving continuous improvement
- Adhering to governance standards and frameworks
- Ensuring projects meet project plans
- Supporting with project planning
- Developing project documentation and also financial tracking
