Senior Electronics Engineer - £55,000 - £80,000 per annum
An industry leading product manufacturer within multiple industry disciplines is looking for a new Senior Electronics Engineer to add to their very experienced and growing team. Reporting to the Technology Director the role will involve the development of new and existing products.
The Senior Electronics Engineer should ideally have:
- BEng Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or the equivalent with several years of experience.
- Ability to demonstrate previous product development from concept through to completion.
- Experience with designing and development of products.
- Experience with microcontroller programming.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Experience with PCB Design (Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable.
- Experience with C, C++ or Python would be desirable.
- Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable.
The Senior Electronics Engineer role will involve:
- Being the main point of contact for all technical aspects from design, development, and manufacture.
- Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working to deadlines and schedules.
- Self-driven and results orientated.
- Responsible for controlling personal workload and identifying any further resource need.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
