Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Derby. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, and testing of our mechanical systems and products.
Your key tasks will include:
- Designing and optimizing mechanical systems to meet project requirements.
- Ensuring all designs comply with industry and safety standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions.
- Performing simulations, analysis, and prototyping to validate designs.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
- Providing technical support and expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
To excel in this role, you should have a solid background in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, with proven experience in designing complex mechanical systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and team collaboration abilities, are essential.
