Role - Senior Design Engineer
Location - Nottingham
Salary - £55,000-£65,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Term - Permanent - (On Site)
Premier Engineering are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a growing organisation in Nottingham. My client produces specialised robotics for the medical sectors. This role will include working on bespoke projects from concept through to manufacture.
The Senior Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- 5+ Years Experience in Mechanical Design (SolidWorks)
- Experience within the Medical Engineering Sector, designing Medical Devices, Robotics
- Engineering qualification (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc etc.) in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Comfortable with internal & external stakeholder management
- Ability to create design schemes in line with stringent quality standards
- Excellent 3D CAD skills
- Be able to work well individually
- Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
The Senior Design Engineer role will involve:
- Producing engineering documents in line with contracts and projects
- Producing 3D designs using CAD software
- Generating the BOM’s to go with the associated designs.
- Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks as required
- Coming up with new ideas to help improve business.
