ROLE – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer   SALARY - £35,000- £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)   TYPE - Permanent   LOCATION – Warrington   My client provides bespoke engineering solutions for manufacture. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Warrington area on a permanent basis.   The Senior Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering / Mechanical/Electrical Design / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar 4 or more years’ industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role within a manufacturing environment Proficient with using 3D CAD software ideally Inventor or AutoCAD software for design Confident knowledge and experience with Structural Engineering disciplines Able to manage projects and work to deadlines and budgets Experienced designing products from concept to production Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry Knowledge of different materials such as sheet metal fabrication Innovative and passionate about design Be technically minded with a head for problem solving Able to work well individually as well as part of a team   The Senior Design Engineer role will involve: Being responsible for the design and development of various products and structures Using Inventor and AutoCAD software for design on a day-to-day basis Developing ideas from concept to production Creating models/prototypes Liaising with clients and developing solutions Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects Maintaining technical drawings and documentation Providing technical guidance and support Supporting product Testing, Verification & Validation   If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
