ROLE: IT Support Engineer LOCATION: Peterborough
SALARY: £25,000 - £32,000


 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a growing and exciting team in the heart of Peterborough.

 

Responsibilities of an IT Support Engineer

Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks including switches, routers, servers
printers, other IT hardware and network patching.

Active Directory and Group Policy management and maintenance.

Support and management of Landlines, Mobile Phones and Desk/IP Phones

Application support and software installs.

Wi-Fi installs and management

Talk users through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up
systems or resolve issues

Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software
faults.

Replace faulty equipment as required.

Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.

Regular site visits to engage with users face to face and proactivity evaluate any potential

 

Experience require for an IT Support Engineer:
 
  • Minimum 2 Years 1st and 2nd Line Support Experience
  • Motivated and Driven
  • Full UK Drivers License (Preferred not Mandatory)
