Software Engineer – Hertfordshire - £50,000 - £80,000 pa
As part of a new expansion, a leading Electronics manufacturer in the Space/Aerospace Industry are looking for a Software Engineer to join their R&D team designing next generation robotics & space technology. They have multiple roles available and are in an exciting period of growth, so are considering candidates with a wide range of experiences from mid to principal level.
Responsibilities:
- Create reliable & robust middleware & application software for satellite & payload systems.
- Test system software development
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or another relevant discipline
- C/C++
- Python
- Embedded Systems
- Embedded Linux
- Version control & test, integration and documentation processes (Git, Jenkins etc.)
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Highly regulated industry standards (Space, Aerospace, Defence etc.)
- Wireless telecommunication systems (Layer 1 & 2, LTE, 5G etc.)
- Linux Kernel & Device drivers
- Electronics & RF test equipment
