Company Overview & Job Title:
One of the world’s most advanced and prestigious engineering organizations based in Kidderminster who are a global leader in multiple industries for Electrification, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, Autonomous Driving, Connected Mobility, and many more sectors are now seeking to hire a brand-new Electrical Design Engineer to join the successful and growing business.
Salary:
The salary on offer for the successful Electrical Design Engineer is £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, depending on skillset & experience.
Flexible hybrid working arrangement:
Working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home is available.
The role:
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will take responsibility for the design and support for the integration of electrical facilities installations and control system integrations.
Electrical Design Engineer Key Skills:
- 2-3+ years minimum industry experience
- Produce detailed calculations to assist in the rating of customer supplied transformer sub-stations.
- Produce single line power distribution diagrams
- Produce electrical sub-contract specifications.
- Produce LV Switchboard and GP distribution board schedules.
Bonus nice to have skills:
- MSc/MEng or PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Lowe Voltage Directive
- Knowledge of 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- Knowledge of ePLAN P8 (not essential)
- Electrical Building Design Experience – Amtech / Trimble.
